What is a Private Duty CNA?
A private duty Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), may provide direct patient care, both medical and non-medical, in a clients home. They enable patients to stay in their homes by providing home health and personal services. This support not only serves the patients, but can also help their families as well.
Typical CNA duties include: helping with medical procedures, taking vital signs; assisting with patients entering and leaving their beds; answering call lights, collecting samples for testing; and monitoring food and liquid input and output.

CNA SAVES LIFE
A Certified Nursing Assistant in Lancaster County, Pa just happened to drive by when a mother, who's child was not breathing, flagged her down. Alexis Allen, the CNA who saved the Childs life, pulled over and performed CPR. The child's mother says that if it wasn't for her training, her child may not have lived another day. AGING WELL IN CHICAGO RADIO SHOW INTERVIEW
